FAQ
Can you rent the Club House?
Yes, our 60' x 30' club house has a seating capacity of 125 people, plenty of parking, is equipped with a full kitchen, modern bathroom facilities, heating and air conditioning along with a training/lunch room for a cost of $250.00 per day. Please Call Marc Roberg at 641-344-5501 about booking your event.

What time is the range open?
There are no set hours. The range is open all the time as long as there is safe shooting light. But the range may be closed on special event days such as registered trap shoots or precision rifle matches. Make sure you check the website and Facebook for updates when the range will be closed for those events.

Is the range available to rent?
Yes, special arrangements can be made to shut down all or part the range for your private event. Contact Marc Roberg at 641-344-5501 for making a reservation.

Do I need to pay to use the rifle / pistol range?
Yes. An annual membership costs $50 per calendar year. Once you're a member, you can use the range anytime at no additional cost. If you're not a member, you can use the range any time but you have to pay a $10.00 per day fee to use the range.  Become a member at our annual banquet and get your name put into a drawing for a free firearm.

Who can be a member?
Anyone can become a member. Click on the membership button at the top of the page to print off a membership application. Send it in with a check and we will send you a membership in return.

Do I need to bring my own targets?
You do not need to bring your own clay targets for trap and skeet. But you will want to bring your own paper targets and stands for the rifle / pistol range. There is a 6" and a 12" steel target on each long range berm. Please do not shoot magnum cartridges at the steel targets.
Please only shoot appropriate targets at the range. Do not shoot appliances, glass bottles, plastic CD's, or any other item that may leave sharp debris when you shoot it. Please don't use exploding targets. Bathroom facilities are available.

Can I drive my vehicle to set up targets?
You can drive to set up targets IF the lane is not muddy. The bottom of the ditch can be very soggy, so be careful, please don't drive if you're leaving ruts. Also try to stay off of the lawn by the pistol pit and shooting benches while its muddy.

Can I pick up my trash when I'm done shooting?
YES! Nobody really ever asks this question, but please pick up after yourself. Try to leave the range looking better than when you arrived.
